I was 12 years old

• Where did you start fencing

I started fencing at La Touché Fencing Club in Southlake, Texas. Then I fenced at Grapevine Texas Fencing Center and now I fence at Gold Blade. Currently I fence for Northwestern University.

• Major accomplishments and highlights

I participated in the 2004, 2005, and 2006 Cadet/ Junior World Championships in Linz, Austria, Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and Taebaek City, South Korea respectively. In addition I was an alternate on the 2007 Junior World Championship team for Women's Epee in Turkey.

• Coaches that helped you

Jim Carpenter helped me a lot. He is a great coach and a wonderful person.

• College info

I go to school at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. I am on the fencing team there. I went to the 2007 NCAA Fencing Championships and paced 6 th . My 6 th place finish earned me second-team All-American honors. I also earned first-team All-Midwest Conference honors.
